OnSide is a software solution aimed at community and sporting events and their management. It provides a simple method for capture, dissemination and reporting of relevant information.

This leads to better management control of safety and community issues. It may also be linked to police and community services and so improves the engagement and liaison between communities, the police, ambulance and fire services.

This improved communication and the subsequent refined allocation of resources should help reduce crime levels, improve health and safety and generate greater trust and sense of community between young people and the police. It will also enable community facilities to discharge their duty of care more effectively.

The product is now being used live by Charlton Athletic Community Trust (“CACT”). CACT runs football coaching sessions in the community and is been using the software to monitor and evaluate attendance, and to demonstrate good governance and procedures within the organisation.

The product is designed to create better care of the young people, a safer environment for both the participants and the coaches, and create better social cohesion, particularly with the involvement of community support and police officers.
